Work Week Excuses

So.  The show is on a weekday.

Here's a guide for dealing with the day after.

Scenario 1. You are your own boss and your conscience is troubling you.  Call on the experts...

“Life is a journey, not a destination.”  ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
“What day is it?"    It's today," squeaked Piglet.   My favorite day," said Pooh.”
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”  ― Eleanor Roosevelt
“Why not just live in the moment, especially if it has a good beat?” ― Goldie Hawn

then take a day off.

Scenario 2. You have a job you’d like to keep.

There are many many valid excuses to miss work and you'd get away with it;  temporary illness, mental health days, "family matters"  are all perfectly valid generic excuses for missing or being late the day after.

if you like your job, see Scenario 1 and then suck it up and work it off snowflake.

Scenario 3. You have a job you hate. Show up when you show up and...

“I saw a show last night and had a gas until very late.  Deal with it”
“I’m going to be late cause I’m going to be late”
“I’m tired and hungover”

or quit and do something you enjoy.

Scenario 4.  You have kids (your employment status does not matter).

get ready, tomorrow's will hurt, but you have tonight without kids!

Hope this helps,
