“I think we’re on to something new,” Canadian-born Mike Edel opens with on “Go WithYou,” his new indie-pop synth laden single.
In a season of both personal and social thresholds and change, Edel has delivered anoptimistic indie-pop anthem for 2018’s dwindling days of summer and beyond. Edelbegan working with producer Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie) after sending demos toWalla while he was living north of the arctic circle in Norway. The duo adopted a‘consistency is boring’ mantra with the new material.
The second single “31” is an “I Won’t Back Down” thirties are the new twenties anthemdue out this Fall, and if the first two singles are a result of almost a full-year in thestudio, we can expect more very soon.
